What we collect

Only what you type into a form and send. If you send us a design, that is your zip code, your email address, the names, dates, words, lettering and artwork you chose, and a picture of the designed stone. If you ask about the designer for your company, that is your company, website, email and phone, and, when you ask from a family's design page, the link to that design.

Typing in the studio sends nothing. The stone is drawn in your browser, and nothing leaves your device until you press a send button.

So your work is still there when you come back, the studio keeps your design in this browser's own storage on your device. It never reaches us from there. Start over clears it.

Design links

A design link carries the whole design inside the link itself, including any note you add for your monument company. You choose who gets it. When someone opens it, the page reads the design out of the link in their own browser; the part of the link that holds the design is never sent to our server, and we do not store it.

What we do with it

A family design sent to us is used to put you in touch with a monument company that serves your area, and is shared with that company for that purpose. A company enquiry is used to reply to you. We do not sell either.

How it is sent

Form submissions reach us by email through an email delivery service. Our web server keeps the sending IP address for up to an hour to stop repeated automated sends.

Analytics and cookies

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes requests (including IP addresses) to deliver and protect it, and counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is used, so we can make it easier to use. Clarity records how a visit moves through the pages (clicks, taps, scrolling and mouse movement) as session recordings and heatmaps, along with the device, browser and approximate location. What you type into a form, and the names and words you letter on a stone, are masked before anything leaves your browser, and a visit that opens a design link is not recorded at all. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy statement, and Clarity sets its own cookies (named _clck and _clsk) to tell one visit from the next. You can block them in your browser settings without losing anything on this site.

We also use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. It receives the address and title of the page, the site you came from, your device, browser and screen size, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address (Google Analytics 4 does not store the IP address itself). When a form is sent successfully, it also receives a note that a request was sent, and nothing else from the form. It never receives the names, dates or words on a stone: the design part of a design link (everything after the # in the address) is removed before the address goes to Google, the page title it receives is the plain one, without a family name, and nothing you type is sent to it. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy, and Google Analytics sets cookies on this site (named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code) to tell one visit from the next. You can block them in your browser settings, or with Google's opt-out add-on, without losing anything on this site.

Apart from the Clarity and Google Analytics cookies named above, the site sets no cookies. The saved design above is kept in browser storage, not a cookie, and is never sent to us. If any of this changes, this page will change first.

Fonts

The typefaces are served from this site. No font service sees your visit.

Removing your information

Email [email protected], or ask through the form on the monument companies page, and we will delete what you sent.
